During the session, lawyer Khalid Chaudhry informed Judge Nasir Javed Rana that they anticipated the verdict. However, the judge explained that the decision could not be delivered as the High Court proceedings were ongoing, and the judgment was still under preparation. He asked the lawyers to verify the new date within 10 minutes.
The court had reserved its decision on December 18 after concluding arguments in the £190 million reference against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. Initially, the verdict was set to be delivered at Adiala Jail on Monday.
