BOURNEMOUTH took a huge step in their pursuit for European football with a narrow 1-0 win over Fulham at the Vitality Stadium.

It took just 53 seconds for the match to be decided, with Antoine Semenyo scoring the decisive goal following a mistake in midfield from the Cottagers.

A rogue touch from Timothy Castagne was picked up by Alex Scott, who carried the ball forward before playing it wide to Semenyo.

Antonee Robinson made a desperate attempt to scramble it away, but the forward was able to make his way into the box with ease before placing his shot into the bottom-left corner.
