BRITAIN’S Got Talent fans have fumed magician act Eden Choi was “robbed” after he failed to bag himself the golden buzzer.
Instead children’s support worker Linda Mudzenda impressed Alesha Dixon with her audition and secured a spot in the live shows.
But some fans thought Eden also deserved a golden buzzer spot for his showstopping performance.
Leaping on social media, one viewer wrote: “I many have found my new winner for BGT this year.
“One of the best magicians I’ve seen on this show. His stage presence as well as showmanship is next level and it was pure mind blowing throughout the entire performance.
“I genuinely think we could be seeing the winner of this year’s show and can you imagine how good he’d be at The Royal Variety?”
A second agreed and said: “I totally agree with the op however the singing lady got a golden buzzer like that’s just not on.”
A third echoed: “Would have rather this amazing guy for Alesha’s buzzer than yet another singer.”
Another added: “He was absolutely incredible, should have been given a golden buzzer easily. He’s my winner this year.”
In a surprise opening, a curtain lifted to reveal Eden standing on stage.
He then held up a red apple, took a bite and appeared to move it downwards using his mind.
Smoke billowed from Eden’s mouth while a playing card suddenly appeared in his hands.
The magician produced a seemingly endless flow of cards from his hands as they fell around him.
Stood backstage, a stunned Ant McPartlin asked: “How’s he doing that?”
In his next trick, the audience watched as Eden used a small, white, circular ball.
He seamlessly moved between holding the white ball, a red ball and a green ball.
Meanwhile, Eden returned to playing cards in the final moments of his audition.
One particularly impressive feat showed “diamonds” on a Four of Diamonds card seemingly change position.
The judges looked visibly amazed throughout and rose to their feet as Eden took a bow.
But it was Linda who ended up with the golden buzzer on Saturday night.
The 21-year-old wowed with her smooth rendition of Lauren Daigle’s You Say.
KSI said: “That was so touching, man, seeing how beautifully you sang. I could feel the nerves as you came to the mic and then you blessed this whole room with your voice.”
Alesha then teased: “About 15 minutes ago, KSI said to me: ‘What is it gonna take for you to press your golden buzzer?'”
Alesha then slammed the buzzer, leaving an emotional Linda in tears.
