David Carrick: Ex-Met Police officer appears in court accused of sex attacks on girl and woman | UK News

Former Metropolitan Police officer David Carrick has appeared at the Old Bailey accused of multiple sex attacks on a woman and a teenage girl.

Carrick, 50, has previously denied two counts of rape, one count of sexual assault and one count of coercive and controlling behaviour in relation to the woman between 2014 and 2019.

He has also denied five counts of indecent assault on a girl aged under 16 between 1989 and 1990.

He appeared at the Central Criminal Court on Friday via video-link for a case management hearing, speaking only to confirm his identity.

A trial is due to be held at the same court from 3 November.

Judge Mark Lucraft KC set a further hearing for 27 June and remanded the defendant back into custody.
