DG ISPR presents audio evidence of Indian terror funding in Pakistan
Rawalpindi: DG IIPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, while presenting audio evidence of Indian funding for terrorism in Pakistan, has said that India is spreading terrorism in Pakistan and, on the contrary, is making baseless allegations against Pakistan itself.
Chaudhry emphasized that while India has been accusing Pakistan of sponsoring terrorism, it is spreading terror across Pakistan through support to terrorist groups. He revealed that Pakistan had intercepted a WhatsApp conversation between an Indian handler and a terrorist operating in Pakistan.
The terrorist, identified as Majeed, received instructions from his handler, Sukhwinder Singh, a Subedar in the Indian Army. Singh, according to the intercepted chat, provided specific details about obtaining explosives, which were sourced from Bhimber. Additionally, an Indian-made drone was recovered during the operation, along with a sum of Rs 10.
Lieutenant General Chaudhry also mentioned Major Sandeep Verma, who is alleged to have financially supported Majeed’s terrorist activities in Pakistan. Major Verma has admitted to facilitating terrorism across various regions, including Lahore and Balochistan, and even provided training on using explosives.
Forensic report of the mobile data is currently underway to further confirm the details of the communications, reinforcing the evidence of India’s direct involvement in fueling terrorism in Pakistan.
