EASTENDERS star Louisa Lytton has revealed she has left the soap after her comeback last year.
The actress – who plays Ruby Allen in the BBC soap – returned last year for an elongated stint as the gangster’s daughter.
Her return saw her reveal she had a secret son – Roman – with Martin Fowler, ultimately reuniting with him before his tragic death last month.
However Ruby has no idea that Martin confessed he really loved ex Stacey Slater just minutes before he died.
And now with Martin’s funeral approaching, The Sun can exclusively reveal that Louisa’s time in Walford is over.
Speaking to The Sun, she confirmed her stint is now over – but is hoping for a return in future.
“I left EastEnders a couple of weeks ago,” she said.
“I was only back for six months, to tie in with the 40th and Martin’s exit.
“It’s always good to come and go and I never see it as a big thing when I leave because I can be back again!
“It’s all been left open.”
Louisa was speaking at an event to launch the Pinner Telephone Kiosk Library and careers hub in Middlesex.
She first appeared on the soap in 2005 as the daughter of feared gangster Johnny Allen.
The actress stayed for a year before Johnny was killed off, leaving Ruby with his vast fortune and criminal enterprise.
She returned in 2018 having run into ex best pal Stacey Slater, and quickly re-establishing herself in Walford.
In 2021, Ruby left after being framed for a drugs crime and went to prison pregnant with Martin Fowler’s son.
