Karachi Kings’ fast bowler Hasan Ali made history on Friday by surpassing former Peshawar Zalmi pacer Wahab Riaz to become the all-time highest wicket-taker in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The 30-year-old achieved the milestone during his side’s match against Quetta Gladiators when he dismissed Hasan Nawaz, taking his 114th PSL wicket. This achievement came in just 84 innings, surpassing Wahab Riaz, who had taken 113 wickets in 87 innings.

Hasan’s incredible feat is a testament to his consistent form in the tournament. Just days before, he had taken four wickets against Lahore Qalandars, and on Friday, he starred again with a brilliant 3/27 performance, showcasing his lethal pace and precision.

Debuting in the PSL back in 2016, Hasan quickly became a fan favorite for his express pace, unorthodox variations, and knack for breaking key partnerships.

He rose to prominence after being named Player of the Tournament in the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, where Pakistan triumphed over India in the final.

Over the years, Hasan has represented several franchises, including Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, and Karachi Kings, leaving his mark every time, proving to be a key figure for his teams in the competition.
