JOE Rogan has revealed why he believes UFC legend Conor McGregor’s career is over.
Notorious, 36, last fought in the octagon in 2021 against Dustin Poirier, when he suffered a broken tibia.
He has since faced a civil trial, where he was accused of “brutally raping and battering” Nikki Hand in a penthouse at the Beacon Hotel in south Dublin in 2018.
The MMA fighter denied the claim – insisting he had consensual sex with Hand. However, a jury ruled in her favour and awarded the accuser damages of just over £200,000.
McGregor has vowed to appeal the decision – although his party lifestyle was exposed.
Now, UFC commentator Rogan, 57, has spoken about where he believes McGregor’s future lies.

“I don’t know if Conor is ever gonna fight again,’ Rogan said on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
“I don’t know the real details of [the civil assault case]. I know his version of it, and her version of it, and what played out in the court…
“The reality is that guy’s partying, and he’s partying real hard, and he talked about it in the in the court case, he’s talking about cocaine.”
Rogan also noted McGregor’s long injury list.

He continued: “We’ve all seen Conor get beat up and knocked out. We’ve seen Conor’s sparring footage. He spars pro boxers. He’s sparring elite fighters.
“You’re getting hit in the head a lot, and a lot of fighters, especially towards the end of their career, turn to drugs.
“I think there’s probably like a constant state of discomfort that they live in where their dopamine levels are offed up, their cortisol levels are offed up, their bodies just you’re not supposed to get punched in the head 1000 times a year.
“It’s just not supposed to happen, and that’s the reality of consistent training.”
McGregor has been tipped for a return to the UFC, and the Irishman was forced to deny he was set to take on Ilia Topuria.
However, he admitted he is in talks to fight Logan Paul in a boxing bout.
Inside McGregor’s Notorious lifestyle
With more sides to his personality than an Octagon, Conor McGregor’s rise has been an enthralling watch.
“The rumours of a bout with [Topuria] are false,” he wrote on X.
“I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambrani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India.
“I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”
