ICELAND shoppers are going nuts for packs of rare Cadbury chocolates which have been spotted for the first time this year.
The budget supermarket is stocking Cadbury Dairy Milk Strawberry Bites – Dairy Milk chocolate with a smooth flowing strawberry flavoured centre.
It doesn’t look like the new treats are listed online so you may need to head in-store to get your hands on these.
Sweet-toothed revellers raved the eagle-eyed shopper’s find, which was shared on the Facebook group Savvy Shoppers.
“Oooh these sound yum,” one wrote.
“My fave the strawberry filling!”
A second weighed in: “I could eat five packs of these in one sitting.”
It comes after shoppers rushed to nab a new Cadbury Biscoff Daily Milk bar that’s hit shelves for the first time.
Chocolate lovers were delighted when news broke that the iconic Cadbury brand was teaming up with Biscoff to create a mouth-watering new treat.
Although the bar has already been spotted in select Premier food stores, rumours have long suggested that Tesco is set to become the primary stockist, giving chocoholics even easier access to the indulgent treat.
The bar which features Cadbury Dairy Milk with pieces of caramelized shortbread Biscoff piece, costs £1.69 at selected Premier stores.
Last month, Charlotte Parkes, senior brand manager at Cadbury UK said: “The hype is real!
“Whilst we’re keeping quiet for the time being, there’s going to be another reason to look forward to spring, very soon!”
WHAT ELSE IS NEW AT CADBURY?
The upcoming release of the new Biscoff bar comes as Cadbury has revealed what new eggs are set to land on supermarket shelves this Easter.
For chocoholics planning their Easter haul, Cadbury’s 2024 line-up promises a mix of exciting new launches and much-loved classics.
Among the fresh arrivals is the Easter Favourites Pouch – stuffed with Mini Eggs, Creme Eggs, and Mini Dairy Milk Eggs.
Ideal for sharing or an Easter egg hunt, the 335g pouch is priced at £7.45 and will be available in stores nationwide.
Also new is the Marvellous Creations Traditional Egg; this tasty new treat is a combination of the popular Marvellous Creations bar and the infamous Dairy Milk egg.
The egg featuring chocolate that contains chewy jelly beans and crunchy popping candy will be sold exclusively at Tesco for £7.49.
Toblerone fans can enjoy the Toblerone Truffle Edgy Egg for the first time, featuring a geometric chocolate shell hiding indulgent Toblerone Truffles.
It’s a premium treat priced at £15.49 and available across the UK.
How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…
Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
