A 20-year-old college student in Dharashiv city, in the Indian state of Maharashtra, died after suffering a heart attack while delivering a speech at an event.

According to sources, the incident took place at Maharshi Guruvarya RG Shinde Mahavidyalaya in Paranda taluka, though the exact date is not confirmed.

A viral video shows the woman, identified as Varsha Kharat, delivering a speech in Marathi. In between, she and the audience start laughing. Kharat’s speech then gradually slows down and she collapses on the floor, the video shows.

Audience members rushed to her aid, but she was declared dead after being rushed to a nearby hospital.

A similar incident was reported recently in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, where a man suffered a heart attack during his 25th wedding anniversary celebration.

Fifty-year-old businessman Wasim Sarwar and his wife Farah were busy dancing at a party when Wasim suddenly collapsed. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.

In Madhya Pradesh’s Ashoknagar district, a veterinary doctor also suffered a heart attack while driving. His car suddenly came to a halt near a park where he was found unconscious by local residents.
