Jaffar Express resumes its services after 15 days suspension
PESHAWAR: Jaffar Express departed for Quetta after being suspended for 15 days due to the attack on train in Bolan area of Balochistan.
Federal Minister Amir Muqam bid farewell to the train’s passengers and offered prayers for their safe journey.
Last night, Railway Minister Hanif Abbasi announced that the Bolan Mail, passenger train, which runs two days a week, will be run on a daily basis.
Talking to the media, the Amir Muqam said that those who wanted to stop the development of Balochistan were disappointed, the nation is united against terrorism, no one should do politics.
The Jaffar Express carrying 280 passengers, with 28 individuals traveling from Peshawar to Quetta. The train is scheduled to return to Peshawar from Quetta on Friday.
The Jaffar Express has been decorated with the national flag, colorful banners, and balloons. Railway officials reported that 280 passengers had made reservations for the journey, which will lead the train through Punjab and then Sindh before entering Balochistan.
According to railway officials, the Jaffar Express is the only train that traverses all four provinces, offering essential service to passengers.
