Jey Uso submits Gunther, becomes World Champion at WWE WrestleMania

Jey Uso defeated Gunther to capture the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE WrestleMania 41, winning the title via submission.

In one of the most physical bouts of WrestleMania 41, Jey Uso overcame Gunther to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. The match, featured on night one of the two-night event, marked a career milestone for Uso, who forced the dominant Gunther to tap out.

The match began with both men locking up before Uso delivered a pair of shoulder tackles. Gunther regained control with a thunderous chop that sent Uso crashing to the outside.

After bringing him back into the ring, Gunther unleashed a flurry of attacks, including a corner whip, chops, and a shotgun dropkick following a suplex from the ropes.

Uso battled back with a spear and a Samoan Drop, then landed a hurricanrana and a spear before climbing to the top rope and delivering a Uso Splash. A near-fall followed as Gunther kicked out.

The Austrian powerhouse then attempted to walk away with the championship belt, only to strike Uso with it on the outside.

Gunther hit a Frog Splash and delivered repeated Hammer and Anvil elbows before applying a Sleeper hold, but Uso managed to escape.

The match escalated as the two exchanged brutal chops. Uso delivered a German suplex before hitting another spear, followed by three consecutive Uso Splashes.

He then applied a sleeper hold of his own, forcing Gunther to submit.

After the bell, Jimmy Uso joined his brother in the ring to celebrate the emotional title win in front of a roaring WrestleMania crowd.
