JUI-F Leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed Buried in Quetta
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed’s funeral prayers were held on Thursday at Jamia Matla-ul-Uloom Barori Road, Quetta.
JUI-F Hafiz Hussain Ahmed passed away on Wednesday after a protracted illness. He was suffering from kidney disease for a long time. JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed grief over the death of the senior politician and cleric.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said a chapter of beautiful memories has ended with the death of Hafiz Hussain Ahmed. Hafiz Hussain Ahmed was a wise and ideological parliamentary leader.
Provincial ministers and members of parliament from Balochistan attended the funeral, including Senator Maulana Abdul Wasey, Mir Asim Kurd Gello, and Younus Aziz Zehri.
Leaders expressed deep sorrow over his passing. The Leader of the Opposition in the Balochistan Assembly said he was saddened by the loss of Hafiz Hussain Ahmed. Younus Zehri stated that they learned politics from him, while Maulana Abdul Wasey highlighted his deep insight into political affairs. Provincial Ameer Maulana Abdul Wasey called his death a significant loss, adding that leaders like him are born once in decades.
Provincial Minister Asim Kurd Gello emphasized that the void left by Hafiz Hussain Ahmed could never be filled. He further noted that the late leader always spoke with reason on national issues. Maqbool Lehri paid tribute to his political services, while a BNP leader acknowledged that Hafiz Hussain Ahmed was a mentor in politics.
