LPG prices rise again in Pakistan amidst economic pressures

Pakistan has increased the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by 54 paisas per kg, ARY News reported on Monday. The Oil, Gas and Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a notification setting the new LPG price at Rs248.37 per kg, effective from April 1.

The price of an 11.8 kg domestic LPG cylinder has risen by Rs6.40, making the new price Rs2,930.71. On March 29, the federal government reduced the petrol price and announced the revised rates for the next fortnight.

A notification issued here stated that the price of petrol decreased by Re1 per litre. The new price of petrol is Rs254.63 per litre, effective from March 29, 2025.

However, the price of high-speed diesel remains unchanged at Rs258.64 per litre. These changes reflect regular adjustments in fuel prices, influenced by international market trends and local economic conditions.
