A POPULAR fast food chain is combining two of its most treasured items to create a whole new range on its menu.
Popeyes has unveiled a mash-up of the iconic Chicken Sandwich and breakfast staple Hash Brown – all in one delicious stack.
The new creation is, appropriately, called the Superstack.
And chicken lovers will be able to try the breakfast-lunch invention in two different flavours.
They can play it safe with guaranteed satisfaction from the Classic Superstack.
Or, for the more adventurous out there, the Spicy Superstack is also available with an added kick.
The stacks feature Popeyes’ legendary 12-hour marinated, hand-breaded chicken breast that diners know and love.
But piled on top of that is a super-crispy Hash Brown.
Separating the new companions is a slice of Cheddar, fresh pickles and a spread of creamy mayo.
And the whole lot is held together with two soft brioche buns.
Dave Hoskins, Head of Food at Popeyes UK said: “The Popeyes Hash Brown is a certified fan favourite, with almost a million flying out restaurant doors across the UK since the Breakfast menu launched in 2024.
“And with our internet-breaking Chicken Sandwich selling over 150,000 nationwide each week, it was only right we combine these two icon-status items for a whooole lotta bite.
“Now, fans can amp up the famous Popeyes Chicken Sandwich by ordering from the Superstack range – for just £1 more.”
The new sandwiches hit branches on Tuesday morning.
Both the Classic and Spicy Superstacks cost diners £6.99 as single items or £8.99 as a regular meal.
For an extra boost, you can upgrade even further to a box meal, from £11.29.
Popeyes first opened up in the UK in November 2021 and is rolling out more shops to reach its 350 target.
This year will see the ribbon cut on over 45 new sites.
The chain recently announced that customers could get “more bang for your cluck” with its new Savin’ Menu.
If you’re feeling peckish you can take home a Classic or Spicy Wrap meal with regular Fries and a regular drink for just £5.
This is a tasty 30 per cent off the usual price, saving customers £1.99.
The price of 11 menu classics have also dropped, including the Mac and Cheese which is now £3.50.
You can also put three Wings with Fries in your basket for £3.49 or two wings for just £1.99.
