A POSH diner is serving Britain’s most expensive burger for £300 — and it doesn’t even come with proper chips.
The wallet-busting whopper is made from prime cuts of beef, lamb and other meats minced into a 350g slab.
And Otto’s Restaurant in central London says it is a bargain.
Founder Otto Tepasse’s creation also includes seared foie gras, lobster claw prepared by a chef at the table and caviar.
It comes in a bun with French-style potatoes called pommes soufflées — and must be pre-ordered.
For the price, diners could order 43 McDonald’s Big Mac meals at £6.89 each.
But Otto claimed it should be £450, saying: “It’s made from the most expensive ingredients you can have.
“It is impossible to make it better.”
The world’s dearest is £5,000 and is served on a gold leaf bun at a restaurant in the Netherlands.
