KARACHI: Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon on Wednesday said that President Asif Ali Zardari’s condition is improving.
In a post on X providing an update on the health of the President, Sindh’s senior minister denied speculations about his shifting to Dubai, stating that these reports were inaccurate.
Zardari had been shifted from Nawabshah to a private hospital in Karachi late Monday night, where he underwent medical tests.
First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari reached from Larkana to Karachi and reached to hospital from airport and met her ailing father, President Zardari.
Aseefa Bhutto also inquired hospital doctors about health of her father. “She has been with the President at the Clifton private hospital, sources said.
President Zardari being treated at the hospital under supervision of his personal physician, Dr. Asim Hussain. Hospital sources said that the president is suffering from fever owing to infection.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Speaker Ayaz Sadiq also contacted President Asif Ali Zardari and inquired about his well-being and prayed for his early recovery.
