Indian YouTuber and podcaster, Ranveer Allahbadia, has announced the return of his podcast The Ranveer Show after a brief hiatus caused by controversy surrounding his remarks on another online programme.
The Indian authorities had temporarily suspended his podcast following complaints about his comments on the show India’s Got Latent.
In a recent video posted across his social media and YouTube channel, Allahbadia apologised to his fans for the controversial remarks, expressing regret for the comments that had led to the public outcry.
He also revealed that, during the investigation, Mumbai police were unable to trace him initially, but he later clarified that he was cooperating fully with the authorities.
Allahbadia shared his appreciation for the support he received from fans, fellow content creators, and public figures such as actors, cricketers, and business professionals.
He acknowledged the loyalty of his team during this difficult time, stating that no one from his team had resigned amid the controversy.
The podcaster also emphasised his commitment to producing more responsible content moving forward, particularly for the younger audience who follow his work.
He expressed his dedication to creating content that would align with his audience’s values and admitted that the incident had affected his mental health, though he coped through practices like meditation.
