Now we know why Towie star Ella Rae Wise hasn’t had much joy trying to win over Love Island hunk Chris Hughes.

It turns out he is pals with Dan Edgar – who like his pal Kem Cetinay is an Essex boy – and making any moves on his ex girlfriend while on the ITV show would break “The Bro Code.”
Ella revealed – in rather explicit detail – how she’d decided to axe her relationship, just as she went into the house, so it couldn’t have failed to escape Chris’s attention.
A TV insider said: “Hitting on a pal’s ex so soon after splitting up just isn’t the done thing – particularly if you do it in front of millions of viewers on a national TV show.
“Which is why, despite Ella saying she wouldn’t mind a flirt with hunky Chris, the feeling hasn’t been reciprocated, much to her disappointment.
“So she’s had to watch, frustrated, while he’s turned his attention to Jojo Siwa.
“With all the interlinked relationships and simmering tension, it’s starting to look and feel like a series of Love Island, which will at least feel familiar for Chris.”
Although they were on the rocks when Ella went into the house, she seemed to carry out an autopsy on their 18 month relationship very publicly.
She even said that the sex was great with fellow Towie star Dan, who’s just been on the final series of ITV’s Dancing on Ice, but it wasn’t enough for her and she needed more.
Then in a teary chat with housemates she went on to reveal: “I just knew he weren’t going to be what I wanted him to be. And I thought maybe he might for me.
“And I don’t want to waste years trying to change someone do you know what I mean?”
But if she plans on moving on with Chris, it seems she’s only destined to spend the rest of Celebrity Big Brother in floods of tears.

The series is going great guns, especially across social media where content has racked up 145million views in one week. Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1.
Sue Perkins will host Have I Got News for You for the first time in a decade.
The former Bake Off presenter will be joined by US stand-up comedian Michelle Wolf and The Times’ parliamentary sketch writer Tom Peck.
The episode will air on May 2 at 9pm on BBC One.
Fans get return to Oz
The Osbournes are heading back to TV with their legendary reality show.
Viewers will be able to relive the antics of parents Sharon and Ozzy alongside children Kelly and Jack when the series launches its free ad-supported streaming service.

The Osbournes became one of MTV’s highest-rated programmes when it was broadcast from 2002 to 2005.
An insider said: “New audiences will enjoy discovering this crazy family, while fans of the series will love reliving their incredible television moments.”
The Osbournes channel will start later this month on Plex, Rakuten TV, LG Channels, Xumo Play, TCL, Vizio, Anoki, Sling Freestream and Vidaa.
Ron and Reggie in Prime
Unheard tape recordings of the Kray twins during their time in jail will feature in a new documentary series.
The Prime Video two-parter will tell how notorious brothers Ronnie and Reggie built a criminal empire in London’s East End in the 1950s and 60s.

It will also examine the relationship between the pair before and after being jailed.
Krays: London’s Gangsters is one of a batch of true-story documentaries that the streaming service has acquired as part of a deal.
Another, The Murder of Joanna Yeates, which launches on April 22, will look into the case of the 25-year-old woman found murdered in Bristol on Christmas Day in 2010.
Other documentaries include The Crossbow Killer about murderer Stephen Griffiths, plus ones on serial murderer Joanna Dennehy and the terrorist attack on a Tunisian beach in 2015.
A major documentary looking at the learning disabled and autistic people working behind and in front of the camera in film and TV is being planned. Producer-director Lizzie Evans is thought to have signed up a number of celebrities for the project, which has not yet found a broadcaster.

Famous for playing acid-tongued Dynasty soap bitch Alexis Carrington, she channelled that energy into slating his outfit that night.
Talking on his podcast, Life’s a Beach, he said: “Do you know what she said to me… because I was seeing her the week after?
“She said to me ‘Alan you won’t be wearing that hideous jumper next week, will you?’
“I had that lovely white jumper on and I thought ‘There’s Miranda Priestly upstairs on the stage and I am sitting next to another one’. She could be an understudy. It was like sitting next to Alexis Carrington.
“She was on fire. She is amazing, she’s 91 and she has still got the energy to slag me off!”
A bittersweet realisation.
