Royal Rapchee OTT unveiled in Dubai: Dharam Gupta leads with AED 50 million investment, promising affordable premium entertainment across Pakistan, India, South Asia, and the Middle East.

The private entertainment group, Royal Rapchee Entertainment, has officially launched its advanced OTT (Over-The-Top) streaming platform “Royal Rapchee.” The company is registered in Dubai’s Department of Economic Development (DED) Mainland as “Royal Rapchee Visual Recorded Media Distribution LLC.”

The platform is initially launching in the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, and India. In the next phase, it intends to introduce franchises in other Asian countries including Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Subsequently, the platform will further expand into key Middle Eastern markets such as Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

Royal Rapchee offers three subscription plans – Silver Plan at AED 5 per month, Gold Plan at AED 15 per month, and Platinum Plan at AED 45 per month. Subscribers will have access to movies, dramas, web series, documentaries, and exclusive original content. The platform will also feature advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology providing personalized content recommendations, high-speed streaming, and offline download facilities.

Speaking to the media during the launch event, Mr. Dharam Gupta, Founder and Managing Director of Royal Rapchee, said,

“The objective of Royal Rapchee is not only to provide entertainment but also to introduce young talent globally. We are committed to offering world-class digital content at an affordable price.”

The project has received significant investment of AED 50 million from the renowned UAE investment firm “Royal Cut Investment.” On this occasion, special thanks were extended to His Excellency Humaid Mohamed Ali Rashed Alkalbani, Chairman of Royal Cut Investment.

The Royal Rapchee platform will focus entirely on family-friendly and culturally appropriate content, including entertainment programs, music, web series, and documentary content. The company aims to release 100 new songs by the end of 2025, offering special opportunities for emerging and young talent.
