Bollywood megastar Salman Khan kept his cherished Eid tradition alive, stepping out to greet fans gathered outside his residence, Galaxy Apartments.
However, this year, a significant security measure was in place. Amid ongoing death threats, the Sikandar star appeared behind a bulletproof glass enclosure, ensuring his safety while maintaining his connection with fans.
Despite the added precautions, the atmosphere remained celebratory. Khan was joined on the balcony by his young niece, Ayat, whose presence charmed both the crowd and social media. The actor, known for his affection toward his family, waved to fans with Ayat by his side, transforming a moment of tension into a heartfelt interaction.
This Eid also marked Salman Khan’s return to the big screen after a two-year hiatus with Sikandar, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and co-starring Rashmika Mandanna. While the film carried high expectations, it lacked the overwhelming buzz of some of Khan’s previous Eid blockbusters.
According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, Sikandar earned ₹26 crore on its opening day. On 30 March 2025, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy rate of 21.60%, with morning shows starting at a modest 13.76% and peaking at over 25% in the evening.
