MOLLIE Pearce may have stumbled at the last hurdle on The Traitors, but she’s ready for a triumphant return on Dancing on Ice 2025.
The model dramatically exited the popular BBC mystery show, falling just short of the £95k prize. Here’s what we know about her.
Who is Mollie Pearce?
Mollie Pearce is best known as one of the finalists from The Traitors Series 2 on BBC One.
Since then, she’s been keeping busy, popping up on Lorraine and Loose Women on ITV, and even presenting a segment for BBC One’s Morning Live to raise awareness about living with a stoma.
On top of that, Mollie’s also passionate about championing awareness and support for people with limb differences.
Mollie herself was born without fingers on her right hand.

Back in 2014, she swam a mile to raise funds for Reach, a charity supporting children with upper limb differences.
The television personality was born on January 28, 2002 in Nailsea, North Somerset.
In March 2024, the 22-year-old made a appearance as herself in The Traitors: The Movie for Comic Relief, alongside an all-star cast such as Catherine Tate and David Walliams.
And now, she’s gearing up for her next big adventure.
In January 2025, Mollie will hit the ice as a contestant on the 17th series of Dancing on Ice, partnered with professional skater Colin Grafton.
A source said: “Mollie captured the nation with her devastation when Harry brilliantly conned her on The Traitors and she’s not put a foot wrong since.
“She’s gorgeous and TV fans will love the chance to get behind her as she takes on a new competition.
“There’s a certain irony in ITV signing the standout star of the BBC’s reality show whilst the BBC take one of the Islanders for Strictly – but everyone’s a winner cos both girls are terrific and deserve the success.”
Why does Mollie from Traitors have a stoma?
Mollie was just 11 years old when she was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, an autoimmune condition that causes inflammation in the large intestine.
Speaking to BBC’s Access All podcast, she said: “I call my stoma Sid.
“I’m very proud of Sid. He’s helped me in a lot of ways.”
It came to dominate her teenage years, with the condition making even basic activities difficult and causing her to miss a significant number of school days.
She added: “When I was suffering with ulcerative colitis I couldn’t be away from a toilet.”
At 18, she made a life-changing decision to have her colon removed and started living with a stoma.
Mollie described her small intestine as sticking “outside of my stomach.”
I wasn’t prepared for it. Eighteen-years-old, you kind of want to be out enjoying yourself with your friends, not having this life changing surgery.

She said: “I have a stoma bag over the top, which collects my waste.”
“I would never have been able to do the missions in the middle of a field or the middle of a loch.
“So actually having a stoma bag is the best thing I’ve ever done.”
In the second-to-last episode of this year’s series, during a celebratory dinner with the final five, the Bristolian opened up about her condition.
She told her fellow finalists: “I really struggled to get my head around the fact that I was going to have a stoma.
“I wasn’t prepared for it. Eighteen-years-old, you kind of want to be out enjoying yourself with your friends, not having this life changing surgery.”
Mollie’s a big fan of travelling and is passionate about raising awareness for travelling with a stoma.
Two summers ago, she went on an adventurous island-hopping trip around Greece with her then-boyfriend, Max Backwell, which boosted her confidence and inspired her to say yes to appearing on the show.
She even tackled the show’s physical challenges—like swimming and climbing—all while wearing a stoma bag.
Mollie said she hopes to help others by sharing tips and showing what’s possible.
Since her surgery, she has also been loving her time back in the gym, which she sees as essential for both her physical and mental health.
And when she’s not in the gym—or plotting as a Faithful—you’ll probably find her shopping.
Fashion has been a huge part of her journey to regaining confidence after her surgery, and she absolutely loves putting together stylish looks.
She has built an impressive career as a disability model, working with big-name brands like Kurt Geiger, Zalando, and Bodyform.
Mollie even featured in a campaign for Vogue Portugal.
Since rising to fame on The Traitors, she’s supported a Marie Curie campaign aimed at funding 10,000 hours of end-of-life nursing care.
After splitting from her boyfriend in October 2024, she said: “After a number of happy years together Max and I have decided to part ways.
“It was amicable and we’re both still friends.”
Sources told how Max plans to back Mollie all the way on Dancing On Ice.
They said: “Mollie and Max loved their time together but they’re both young and the relationship they shared reached a natural end.
“They both support each other in everything they do and Max is really excited to watch Mollie on Dancing On Ice given he knows how much the opportunity means to her.”
