Karachi experienced an unexpected foggy spell in various areas late at night, including Saddar, II Chundrigar Road, and the Old City area.
The fog lingered through the night but dissipated with the morning sunlight.
Meteorological analysts attribute the phenomenon to high humidity levels and stagnant winds, which caused reduced visibility early in the morning.
The fog was particularly dense near the airport, where visibility was reduced to about 2.5 to 3 kilometres. However, as the sun rose, the fog cleared and visibility improved.
