4 Khwarij eliminated in Swat intelligence-based operation

News reported on Friday that Pakistan’s security forces killed four Khwarij during an intelligence-based operation in Swat, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to the ISPR, security forces and law enforcement agencies jointly launched an intelligence-based operation in Swat district after receiving reports about the presence of Khwarij.

During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location, resultantly four khwarij were killed, ISPR said.

The military’s media wing noted that security forces recovered weapons and ammunition from the killed Khwarij, who had been actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

ISPR added that security forces, in coordination with Pakistan’s law enforcement agencies, are conducting a sanitization operation to eliminate any remaining Khwarij in the area, reaffirming their determination to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that security forces earlier killed 11 Khawarij during intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“On 26-27 March 2025, eleven Khwarij were killed by the security forces in four separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province”, the ISPR said.

Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District. During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the Khwarij at their location and killed five of them.

In a second operation conducted in the same general area, security forces successfully neutralized three more Khwarij.
