I’M A Celebrity star Melvin Odoom’s dreams have come true as he finally met his long-term crush Carol Vorderman.
Melvin, 44, made no secret of how much he fancies Carol, 64, during his stint in the jungle and attempted to pursue her once back in the UK.

After reaching out to his showbiz crush online, Melvin revealed she had brutally snubbed him.
But in a surprise move, the BBC Radio 1 star has now shared a cosy photo of him and ex Countdown star Carol.
Melvin looked over the moon to be in Carol’s presence, as she rested her head against him.
He was seen grinning from ear to ear, with Carol looking up at the DJ in the sweet snap.

The chuffed star shared the photo with his fans and captioned it: “Dreamed it then real lifed it,” with a red heart emoji.
Loose Women and comedian Judi Love wrote: “Finally,” with heart emojis.
A second posted: “The selfies we’ve all been waiting for.”
A third added: “Omg is this the start of something…”
In January Melvin admitted it things didn’t work out with Carol as he had planned.
Chatting to his former I’m A Celebrity campmate GK Barry on her Saving Grace podcast.
GK asked Melvin: “Carol Vorderman. Have you had any update on that?”
Looking deflated, Melvin replied: “I’ll tell you the truth. I sent her a message saying, ‘Thanks for being a great sport but here’s my number. Give me a little call’.
“She’s not read it. It’s been three weeks. Why would you not even just read it?
“It’s just been left there and I check it once a week. And I’m like, ‘Oh, okay…’.”
GK – real name Grace Keeling – laughed hysterically at Melvin’s confession.
Melvin revealed his massive crush on former Countdown star Carol while in the Australian jungle last year.
He described her as his “dream woman”, slept on a pillow with her picture on and even acted out going on a date with her.
During the role play, Tulisa Contostavlos took on the part of Carol and Melvin asked her to accompany him to a Thai restaurant.
Carol later reacted to the bizarre scene in spin-off show I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked by sending in a voice-note.
In a flirty voice, she said: “Melvin, or should I say Jungle Man.. Melvin Vorderman… It sounds the same to me.
“Right, question. Have you been spying on me because just last night I had a little Thai food.
“I had pad Thai, quite a lot of it, with a little chicken satay on the side. It was delicious, Jungle Man.
“Anyway keep doing what you’re doing. You’re doing a brilliant job. See you on the other side.”
And this wasn’t the only one.
Carol sent in a second message for Melvin while claiming to be wearing a “wearing a red leatherette dress”.
I’m A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec tried to play this one to Melvin once he had left the jungle but, due to technical issues, it failed to play.
He did, however, get to hear it while appearing on Unpacked.
Sam Thompson played the audio clip for Melvin after gifting him with a mug with Carol’s face on it.
“Well hello,” Carol began. “Oh Melvin, I’m blushing redder than that leatherette dress I’m wearing on your pillowcase.
“But I’ll be rooting for you all the way through. See you on the other side in the – two consonants – DMs.”
After it played, Melvin clapped loudly and shouted: “Yesssss!”
