New photo of Prince Louis released to mark his seventh birthday | UK News

Kensington Palace has released a new photograph of Prince Louis to mark his seventh birthday.

Louis is pictured sitting on a tree trunk, smiling and showing a gap for his two front teeth, in the image released on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s social media accounts.

The photo was taken earlier this month in Norfolk by Yorkshire-born photographer Josh Shinner.

It is not the first time he has taken a photo of the young royal.

He also took a black and white photograph of William, Kate, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis as the family’s official Christmas card image in December 2023.

The picture was shared on social media, accompanied by the message: “Wishing Prince Louis a very Happy 7th Birthday!”

The Royal Family’s own X account quote-tweeted the photo, saying: “Happy Birthday to Prince Louis!”

The third and youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Louis is well known for his antics, from dancing at the Platinum Jubilee concert to pulling faces on the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Prince William will be flying to Italy just a few days after his son’s birthday to attend the funeral of Pope Francis.
