Proud Turkey Teeth patient shows off his new gnashers but people compare the after pics to a wheelie bin with alloys

A BLOKE has left people in hysterics after proudly showing off his new Turkey Teeth, which trolls compare to a wheelie bin with alloys.

As we’re fast approaching this summer’s season of Love Island, there’s another hot topic fans will be sure to talk about – the contestants’ dazzling white gnashers.

But it’s not just influencers and celebs getting their teeth done – as reported by Cliftonville Dental.

Each year sees thousands of British and Irish citizens jet off to Turkey for a new Hollywood smile.

This is primarily because compared to getting your teeth done in the UK, the costs are more affordable.

One person who took advantage is Frankie Jacko and his brother.

The young man recently took to TikTok to share the so-called ”Turkey Teeth” transformation – however, the smile glow-up was brutally mocked on the platform.

According to Frankie, the process was kicked off by a 3D scan of their face, before their natural teeth were drastically filed down to fangs.

”My face was so numb. On the first night, I could barely eat anything,” said Frankie, who was staying at an all-inclusive hotel.

After a few more visits to the cut-price dentists, Frankie and his brother finally got their brand new gnashers – which the man was chuffed with.

Proudly sharing the tooth makeover on his page, the young Brit said: ”They feel amazing, they look amazing.

”I can’t lie, I’ve never been so happy. I can’t stop smiling,” Frankie added, uploading a wholesome snap of the two beaming.

According to Frankie, who hasn’t revealed the total costs of the transformation, both him and his brother were experiencing issues with their natural gnashers – which is why they opted for the cosmetic procedure.

”[I] had one tooth missing and was needing three out, would have had no back teeth – same for my brother. [I] was always in pain, wasn’t enjoyable,” he told social media users in a recent video.

‘Bit like putting alloy wheels on a wheelie bin’

But despite feeling his best, Frankie – who claimed that some of his real gnashers were ”ruined” – was met with cruel trolling on the platform.

One critic reckoned: ”1. They look like dentures. 2. The regret will come when you have rampant infections under the crowns from the over-prepping of your natural teeth.

”3. I assume you’ll rely on the NHS to fix it.”

A second chimed in: ”Bit like putting alloy wheels on a wheelie bin.”

4 dangers of getting ‘Turkey Teeth’ to save money

Dr Aneka Khaira, a cosmetic dentist and founder of Vogue Dental, gives us the lowdown and why Turkey for a dental makeover may not be the best of ideas..

  1. Regulations: These stricter regulations do not apply to dentists abroad, leading to greater risks. According to the pro, there have been reports of patients being seriously ill post-treatment – and even cases of dying.
  2. Cost: Implications are the risk of losing teeth and higher prices for fixing in the UK. So while you may pay less to start with, you could pay much more long term, she warned.
  3. Lack of aesthetic detail: ”A definite tell tale sign of cheap teeth is the lack of aesthetic detail. High-quality dentistry is an art – premium veneers look natural.”
  4. Further damage: As explained by the dental guru, cheap work can lead to an uneven bite, with a risk of causing further problems such as TMJD, migraines, and further breakages of the teeth.

Someone else warned: ”The pegs that your real teeth have become have zero enamel protection and will break down, you will need dentures in five years.”

Another thought the duo didn’t need to fork out for the procedure in the first place – and could’ve stuck to less invasive alternatives.

”Braces, composite bonding and whitening would have been perfect.”

Luckily, there were also some nice comments, with one supportive viewer reminding Frankie to not care about the harsh criticism.

”Ignore the haters mate, it’s your life, live it.”

”fair play mate, not gonna judge like others. Happiness first,” another wrote, as someone else thought they looked ”great”.
